Tons of inventory but bottom line he is just trying to separate you from your money, doesn’t matter if it’s the right part for you because if it’s not he won’t work with you to make it right, I called and so did my dad and he gave me the run around then gave my dad a completely different story.

Mr Harlan is a very nice guy. Has good prices and has plenty of parts for pretty much anything. I highly reccomend Harlands snowmobile and motorcycle salvage

Original post: Purchased defective (new unopened) parts and Harlan's wasn't willing to work with me to make it right. Ate the cost myself. Will not be back, don't recommend. Reply to Harlan's: I spent close to 100 at the shop that day. Harlan's only had 2 of the 4 items I was looking for, and what I bought I knew I could find cheaper elsewhere. But I believe in buying local. The ew\ hood latch kit looked to be as old as my sled (1999); it was clear it has spent years on the shelf. I was told nothing about half price (paid 22, Dennis Kirk carries for 11.40). The plastic cup cracked before the rivet tail was even fully pulled in. I was not told to use bolts in place of the rivets that come with the kit. I didn't ask for money back, I asked if he had an extra cup (piece that broke) because I had already drilled holes specific to this kit in the hood of my sled. I was told \sold the last 4 kits to a guy the other day\ and that he was not ordering more until next year now. He said he was not responsible for the defective part because he \can't control what these companies send me\. He said no returns and no store credit and \I don't know what to tell you\. I'll spend my money elsewhere in the future.
