Stan Lawruk has tuned and serviced my baby grand piano for the past 15 years. I am a piano teacher and usually have him tune my piano a few times a year because of all the use it gets. He calls the night before with a reminder and has always been courteous and prompt and very professional at each visit. I feel comfortable enough that I will even leave my front door unlocked so that he can come in and start working if I happen to be dropping kids off at school or running an unexpected errand. He is very knowledgeable about pianos and has been able to fix issues with my baby grand when needed. He takes the time to explain exactly what the problem is and what he will do to resolve it. Over the years, I have recommended Stan to my students who either need their own piano tuned or are looking to buy a piano. Many of my students who are just starting out have purchased their first piano from Stan. I have also recommended Stan to friends who need their pianos moved. Whether he is moving pianos, tuning them, or delivering a piano to an excited student, all are happy, satisfied customers.
A great piano mover and tuner!!! We have been customers of Stan Lawruk's for 20 years, beginning when we purchased a piano from him. He managed to move the piano into our home despite having to navigate around 5 excited kids whom thought they were being helpful. Stan has been tuning our piano ever since and has always been prompt, friendly, and engaging. He always inquires about the kids (all young adults now) and is someone whom I can tell truly enjoys his work.
