My family and I had a wonderful trip this morning kayaking with Don from Mahanaim Adventures. We booked their shark tooth island trip, all online without any problems. We received a reminder regarding our trip last night, which was great because when you're on vacation it's easy to forget what day it is Don was waiting for us and our group when we arrived. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He explained how to kayak, some of the history of the area and the wildlife that live along cape fear river. We all had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the trip. We give Don 5 stars and would recommend to everyone. Thank you for a wonderful time and we will definitely book another adventure with you when we are in the area again. \u200d️

Great trip down the Black River- Ivanhoe section. It was a pleasure hanging out with Don while paddling down the river. Looking forward to booking our next trip with him
Our family of 4 (12 yr old & 16 yr old kids) did the Sharks Island Adventure at the end of July. We had a FANTASTIC time. We are always looking for sharks teeth on the beach so to be able to find them so easily was amazing. Our guides were informative and interesting. Fun social distancing vacation activity. I would highly recommend it!
Absolutely recommend! An awesome guided tour with great tour guides. They have a life time of experience kayaking as well as knowledge of the land. The whole family (ages 14-50) had a great time kayaking to shark tooth island. They give you plenty of time to explore the island, never rushing you, but also bring an extra guide to take you back out kayaking if you’d prefer that instead. All around fantastic time, we would love to do it again, thank you so so much!
We did the all day outing on the Black River through the three sisters swamp. Dwayne and Josh were professional guides and expertly guided us though this Carolina gem.
