Stiegler's is one of the best dinning spots in the valley. Their menu is expansive in its offerings, you can't go wrong with anything you order. Their wine list is excellent. The staff is very professional and helpful. And the atmosphere is top notch and authentic, from the staffs attire to the table ware and the copper bar. Great choice for a dinner off the beaten path of town.

The restaurant was very traditional and authentic decor (02/18). The staff was very friendly, the drinks were good and nice place to talk (it was not loud). We did not eat but heard the food is wonderful. Will be going back to try the food.
This is a Jackson Hole hidden Gem. Be around forever. Old school Jackson hole. Great food. Great service. Great atmosphere. Highly recommend.
The prices were outrageous. A small salad that should be 6 is 14. An appetizer that bills itself as trout and salmon had trout cut up the size of toothpicks. No need to go here. The Alpenhof is a much better choice.
Stiegler's is tucked away in the corner of a building. Upon entering you are greeted by a sharply dressed host who offers to take your coat. The vibe is warm, welcoming, refined and comforting. Everyone is in their place and knows their place. The host is efficient, the girl pouring water and bussing the tables is efficient, the servers are efficient and knowledgeable. The decor is decidedly old world with wood beams, real working fireplace, plush cushions and light fixtures with decorative shades. The servers wear white, pink, and black Austrian dirndls. The menu is full of old world delicacies. The menus were also clean - no water spots or food residue. The wine presentation was top notch and done correctly. The food we ordered was plated beautifully. Even though my husband ordered something very traditional (schnitzel) it was presented in a fresh way - the attention to detail was unexpected. The lemon was wrapped in a light yellow cheesecloth tied with a slim green ribbon. The little things stand out to me. The proprietor, Peter, came by our table and knew our dishes with just a glance even though they were almost completely devoured. He welcomed us and asked about our dinner and how we heard about his restaurant (word of mouth). Later in the evening our server shared that Peter makes most of the sauces and dishes and that the sous chef puts it all together. We chose Stiegler's for our anniversary dinner and it was such a special treat. The overall experience compelled me to write this review and I dream of returning for another deluxe dinner.
For my 25 years here, Stieglers still continues to be one of the very best restaurants for food quality and superior service. Peter, you run a tight ship...Thank you for a great experience every time.
Excellent food and service. If you are looking for cheap this is not your place, but if you are willing to pay for a cut above try this.
Food was way overpriced and was just okay. Service and atmosphere was great.
