This shop is cool! My husband wanted to upgrade my guitar for Christmas, so he called and met with Jon ahead of time, Jon helped him pick out some guitars in the intended price range. When My \better half\ took me to the Fret Shop, Jon was wonderful. I sat and played 5 guitars, narrowing down to 2... I loved the fact that he was really laid back and let me play till my heart was content. ( unlike the salesmen at \the store who shall not be named\... who hound you to death.) When choosing a guitar, it's personal. You have to let it sing to you, and not be rushed. Jon let me hang out on one of his comfy couches and told me he was avail. if I had any questions. And when I did, he was very knowledgeable and helpful ; especially on the pros and cons of my final 2 selections. With his help, I was able to focus on my priorities in a guitar, and make a final decision.... But the story doesn't end there! I took the guitar home ( Eastman E20 om)- put lighter strings on, and realized the action was a little higher than I play. Five days later, I am back in the store, and Jon is adjusting the guitar to my custom fit. I did not have to leave it. He is a great guy, and knows his stuff. Kinda bummed though... a friend of his came in and started playing - I would have loved to hang out longer and listen to them jam... what amazing Talent in that store! So happy to have found a LOCAL music place. Thanks, Jon! I will be back !!!

now that i am an official customer on something other than accessories i can truly say Jon is a man that truly cares about his customers. Truly in this business for the music and is just as excited as you are when you walk out with one of his guitars! Jon, from me to you I can't thank you enough for running a solid music store that cares about his customers and cares about the music more than the dollar. You're a rare gem in this industry so thank you!
