This place is horrible! I have been calling trying to get birth control for 2 weeks now..this would be the third week now. Every time I call they just tell me to call a different day. One day I called them and asked if I could come in and they denied me because they were “about to close” but they didn’t close for another 2 hours! I was supposed to start my new pack of birth control on Sunday, but now I’m 5 days late on taking it because I haven’t been able to go in and get it since they keep telling me to call a different day! I am extremely angry and fed up with this place! What is a health department for if I can’t get what I need?!

Rude and hateful, seems to be the norm at most county health departments. If this place fails you go to Medlink. Medlink has everything and I actually saved money using them and I was a walk in and seen in under 30 minutes. I still have my dignity intact and was treated with respect like all human beings should be. BCHD should be bulldozed and my tax dollars used elsewhere.
Trying to reach the WIC staff is a nightmare! I've been calling for weeks to set up an appointment and nobody will return my calls or pick up the phones.
Visited today. Had an appointment and waited about 30 minutes after I arrived. The nurse practitioner was very nice. She was very thorough. The procedure I had done took a little extra guidance from the doctor to aid the nurse practitioner, but ultimately, both were very helpful and knowledgeable. Nice new office also!
The ladies that work here are very rude, unprofessional and uneducated. Please replace or train the workers. Public photography is not a crime.
