Built in 1805 for Bancroft Fowler, the fourth minister of the Windsor Congregational Church. It served as their parsonage until 1835, when it was sold to the Baptists, who used it as their parsonage until 1848. Jason Steele, a local banker, purchased it and added Greek Revival features to the home. It was sold again in 1897 to Will Davis, a railroad conductor, and then again in the 1960's to owners of a medical clinic. They disfigured the historical nature of the home, but the interior has been restored by later residential owners.
