I think some of the poor reviews are hilarious. As i agree with the poor camping set-up comments, i did not go here to camp, i came to be on the river (hence the name) and have a relaxing bachelorette afternoon; which we did. Showing up with a group of 6, and two vehicles, we weren't sure if we'd be able to get on the river because we knew ahead of time that they were fully booked on a beautiful Saturday. But, if you really want something in life, you go after it. And what do ya know? We didn't get tubes, but we were able to rent 6 SUP/convertible sit-on-top kayaks. Because the transfer van was full, we were able to follow the van down with one of our vehicles, and left the other vehicle there; we also received a 10% discount because we didn't ride in the van. I had originally wanted to float in the tube, but was kind of happy we got to kayak instead because the river was slow, but here is where i laugh at other poor reviews having to do with the pace and flow of the river. This business is not in charge of how much rain falls!!! Lol. Look at topography, slope of a river, other reviews of other similar locations, and more of a rainy season if you want rapids. This river location was gorgeous and staff members were around at the pick up location to help us carry up the equipment. We all had a nice time.

Not what I expected. I was hoping for more rapids and their were NONE! Also their were so many rocks and the river was shallow. Must paddle on your own but good for your muscle's. It was nice but as my sis' said\I've seen better\. I might do it again, but I hope they update the experience.

Went kayaking and they made the process very easy. Gave us a map, PFD, paddles, and a kayak to use for our trip and shuttled us to the drop off location. Not overly instructive and a pretty relaxed place.

They seem a little unorganized and the pre-float \orientation\ was a complete joke, but the float itself was fun. We did the 3 hour canoe trip with my wife an daughter in one canoe and two friends in another. The river pace was almost too slow and you had to paddle consistently to get downriver. That was fine as we are all in good shape and didn't mind a bit of a workout. The staff was overall friendly and helpful and I would do it again if the river was a bit higher and flowing quickly.
