We liked the wine but it was a bit fruit forward (jammy) as we started the wine flight of reds. They did get a bit dryer as we worked to the 4th and 5th one. Very nice and knowledgeable pourer. Ask about how they got the name...it’s not what you would ever guess and it’s NOT about Highway 101 in CA !

Interesting stop! This tastings room has their two house brands of wine. One catering to folks who are left handed named “southpaw”. Bartenders were funny and friendly also helpful in getting us the perfect glass of wine. Great stop for out of towners to experience different Arizona wines!

Amazing spot where you can sample some of the finest AZ wines. Different tasting menus to suit & expand your palate. The food is also good. My favorite part, the amazing wine is served by an amazing staff & the history behind the names make this more than just a wine tasting it is an experience you will remember.

101 is a cool place to lay back and unwind from the busy, hum-drum of life. Take in the welcomed ambiance of a nice location in Old Town Cottonwood and have a flight of wine or a glass of \Roon Ranger\ with the perfect blend of Cabernet, merlot and Sura wines. Perfect on the blends for an earthy, smooth blend with hint of strawberry, and a dash of cherry from the barrel. The staff are some of the most pleasant people who tend to your needs and make you feel totally at home, and comfortable. Take in the flavor and the special nuance of Old Town with Winery 101. Some of the best Arizona wines this side of the Verde River.
