They've been doing the Walnut Valley Festival for almost 50 years, so it's pretty clear they know what they're doing. Bring your instrument and plan to camp if you want to jam at all hours with other music lovers. Otherwise, if you want to sleep on a real mattress in air conditioning with hot showers, book your hotel a year in advance, or check out the offerings on Airbnb or check online for independent bed and breakfast places.

Walnut Valley Festival is the best entertainment at a real value. Facility is inviting. People there are friendly. Talent is superior! Food vendors are reasonable and there is a good selection.
