Friday sale starts at 12 not 11:30am like website says. It is very easy to understand the auctioneer. They are friendly people. Operate in a professional manner. They have the catwalk to be able to get an idea of the animals that will be offered up for sale that day. They do not move slow but don't force the animals to go at an unnatural pace either.

Great experience as always. We have been dealing with Winnsboro Livestock for almost 40 years.
Old school auction experience however they are in the middle of remodeling- I highly appreciate the strict rules here as much as the level of respect where as the seller is just as important as the buyer... It's a crying shame the \simply run *old-school*\ restaurant inside is only ran during auction day (every Monday) - just being within the driveway the sensations of a big wood grill, sizzling onions, and big real beef patties like 'ole 'pops' used to serve on memorial day tend to tease and send your senses 'a'muck... Here's another couple shockers- try out thier homemade fries- watch them cut the 'taters - they hide nothin! They also have fresh produce from the farm they have on site 4 sale or sit out in front of Super 1 / orieleys or even longview livestock auction where they run thier other restaurant... With thier competitive pricing, you've gotta give em a tryout- they may become your favorite \secret personal treat\ or \personal reward\ once a week 4 whatever reason...

Worst sale barn I know of,way too slow and OLD dilapidated pens. Would not take a dead animal there.
One of the best sale barns around...i did buy one pair that was not actually a pair (calf did not belong to the cow) but I will continue to use this barn based on price and quality.
