Wow this shop goes above and beyond!!!Susan is an absolute gem! I ordered a pair of skates that happend to be out of stock ( I live 8 hours away from the shop). Susan contacted me immediately and spoke to me multiple times over a month until we found my perfect skate! It wasn't the one I had originally wanted and I am so pleased with the pair that Susan helped me find. I am 100 % positive that I am happier with these skates then I would have been with the original pair I thought I wanted. I wouldn't have had the incredible experience provided to me without Derby city skates. I will continue to be a long time customer. Thanks Susan!

Great local shop! Susan was great and helped us find the perfect fit. When my daughter said she wanted to learn to skate I was excited! We thought about shopping online but when we saw this shop close by we decided to give it a try. So glad we did. We’ve been skating several times and they are the best skates ever! My daughter loves hers and I am reliving my childhood in the best possible way.

I wish I could give more then five stars to Derby City Skates and Susan. I was buying skates for my granddaughter for Christmas. I had no clue what I was doing. After getting no help and awful service from another company, I happened upon Derby City Skates. Susan was beyond helpful. She helped me pick out the perfect skates and didn't try to over sell. I will recommend Derby City Skates to anyone looking for skates and great, friendly service. If I ever make it to NC will stop by their store to say thanks in person to Susan.

Small, quaint place that has every square inch utilized with a variety of things. This is the only skate shop in a large zone, so it's worth driving a couple hours to take care of small business owners. Knowledgeable and friendly, I dig it. Really has the friendly cool vibe you'd expect from the roller skating community.
