HIDDEN GEM of Authentic Chinese food in Orlando!! This place just opened recently & I really hope that it stays longer than their former tenants. Their food is super flavorful and has some unique Chinese dishes that I haven't seen in Orlando. As well, they do have some more mainstream, more Chinese-American dishes. If you have a mixed group of beginners and adventurous eaters, there is a little bit of everything. I really recommend trying the Dry Pot. We had the Dry Pot - Pork Intestine. I understand that may sound super gross, but it's an amazing dish that just tastes like fried pork. Their spice level is just right and flexible. I would say that the regular spice levels are pretty mild for myself (I can be a wuss for flavor). I would suggest just grabbing hot chili oil if you need it. The restaurant is really new and renovated. The atmosphere is very nice and the waiter/ hostess is very informative on dishes. I will say , DON'T BE DISCOURAGED BY AM EMPTY PARKING LOT. I have a lot of rules about places I will not visit and an empty parking lot can be a big deterrent. However, this place is not a restaurant to miss out on. Only downside/ forewarning, the prices are a little higher than more of the more authentic Chinese restaurants in Orlando. However, flavor and freshness make up for it. You might put a pretty penny for a large meal, but it will be delicious!

Just found my new favorite authentic Chinese food restaurant. Went with a party of five and ALL of us loved our drinks, appetizers and entree. Fresh and authentic. I understand why the name of the restaurant is Shining Spice ... the dishes smelled amazing and the flavors too. Great friendly service too! Go and enjoy!

Decent new traditional Chinese food restaurant. Some flavors are great, some are clearly too salty. Similar flavor profile to restaurants in Beijing. Anyone who has been to middle/north China will recognize the style. Fried milk desert was great. Style is somewhat Szechuan, but I did not find it to be spicy at all, any of their dishes. They need to amp that up if they want to advertise dishes as spicy. I think they are going for a similar flavor Szechuan, but more accessable to Americans in terms of spiciness, maybe? I was super unimpressed with fried rice. It didn't taste like wok fried rice, but rather flavored white rice. Not just lite, but not flavorful at all. "Spicy oil" sauce on table is not impressive at all, not even spicy, just tastes like salty oil... :( Owner I believe is from Beijing. Restaurant is very clean and nice, almost fancy inside. They made this place very nice inside. Final call after visiting 3 times - they have all the right cues, the dishes, decor, bar, parking, etc., but the taste of the food is just lacking. For the price point especially, I'm not impressed.

Ordered carry out for ten on Christmas Eve and it was delicious! Great customer service and the food was excellent. Will definitely order from again and eat in their dining room, looked great along with bar. Highly recommend!

This is not your typical Chinese food, it is high end, amazing flavors, and authentic. We tried 7 different plates that we shared amidst 5 adults and 2 littles, it was am abundant amount of food and each dish had wonderful unique flavors. My favorite at least right now is pork and bamboo shoots!!!

I went to China two years ago, and since then I've been looking for a place where I could get food as good as I had there. Well, my search is finally over! This is the best authentic Chinese food I've had in America, and I'll be returning very very soon and very often. Service was amazing as well!

Dishes are authentic Chinese food. Delicious but it was too salty for my taste. Clean, modern and spacious place.

It's AUTHENTIC Chinese food. Loved it (ordered only vegetarian meals, though). House tofu is the best!
