!!!-BEWARE-!!! Worst lawyers ever! - I worked with Robert Thornberg to finalize a simple trademark consult. When I met up with him in his office, he assured me it would be really easy as he just had to finalize an already existing contract. I trusted them and gave them my retainer thinking that he would do what he said. He ended up neglecting my calls and emails for 2 weeks or more, the opposing counsels e-mails as well which forced me into litigation. I was upset by this as it was an easy matter to take care of and when I tried to address it, another lawyer in the firm (Allison), reached out to me via e-mail telling me that these things happen and asking me to give them power of attorney as it could now cost anywhere from 100,000 to 150,000. They botched the initial job which only had a retainer of 2500 and all of a sudden were asking for more money after screwing up the very thing I hired them for. I communicated my upsets and finally got back 1750 of my retainer but not the rest. They didn't even file with the USPTO to take over my case which is so basic to me and my old attorney was getting all of the communications. I reached out many times after via phone and e-mail but no one ever responded. Sorry to leave someone a bad review but I felt really scammed, lied to and taken advantage of and I tried so many times to rectify this and have so many e-mails sent that show this.
