Girls grow confidence as they discover new strengths and gifts in the nurturing, safe, and enthusiastic environment of the WeHaKee community. Since 1923, WeHaKee Camp for Girls has been a summer home to girls of all faiths and backgrounds. In addition to girls from throughout the United States, we have campers from nations such as France, Russia, Mexico, Japan, Guatemala, Canada, Spain and Colombia. It is a diverse and welcoming environment where girls develop lifelong friendships with girls near and far! To create their own individualized program, WeHaKee campers choose from nearly 40 activities including horseback riding, water skiing & wake boarding, gymnastics, sailing & wind surfing, tennis, painting & pottery, swimming, canoe trips, music, dance & drama, soccer, volleyball, photography, archery, arts & crafts, basketball, biking and much more. Our facilities include a heated pool, extensive waterfront for boating & swimming, professional tennis courts, soccer field and basketball courts, riding ring & bridle trails, lakeside log-hewn dining lodge, art center & pottery shop, large stage & dance/gymnastics studio, and more. Campers stay in our newly renovated cabins that have room for 8 girls and 2 counselors. Our 4 recently built shower/restroom complexes are professionally cleaned daily and feature individual, private stalls & changing areas.

Our family loves this oh-so-special place. Our daughter is looking forward to her third year at camp this summer, and I can't wait to come back for another mother-daughter camp someday. The counselors and staff are welcoming, warm, and cheerful. Their positive energy and joy touches every part of camp life. Our daughter comes home happier, kinder, and more independent every year. Wee-Ha-Kee is truly a camp experience not to be overlooked.

I attended Camp WeHaKee growing up myself, and I was so excited when my daughter was old enough to go to camp, too. She has attended WHK three summers, was scheduled to attend in 2020 (but camp was closed due to COVID-19), and is SO excited to be signed up to attend camp again in the summer of 2021! She loves the independence that she has at camp, the friendships she's been able to make with girls from all over the world, and the opportunity to try new activities that she wouldn't be able to do at home. Bob and Maggie, the camp directors, are absolutely fabulous. I have had several personal conversations with them about the upcoming summer, and I am so impressed with everything that they have in place to make camp as safe as possible for the girls this summer. After all that has happened in 2020, it is so great for my daughter to have something as awesome as Camp WeHaKee to look forward to this summer. Highly recommended summer camp! Beautiful place to spend 2, 4 or even 6 weeks away form the city and surrounded with an incredible landscape. I traveled from Mexico all they way up there since I was 7 years old to attend as a camper for 5 years and then I went back as a counselor for another 6 summers, the best thing my parents could do for me, it was a great experience.

I sent two daughters there for 2 week session for 12 summers combined. They will both say it was the highlight of their summers. They met great girls and made friends from across the country and around the world. WeHaKee is truly a special place. The lake, grounds, facilities and offering of activities are top notch. Only better are the Camp Directors Maggie & Bob Braun. Their experience and knowledge managing camp insure confidence to the parents and a genuine welcome to the campers that they have found a place memories are made of and friends for life.

Our daughter attended this camp, and had the best experience. She can't wait to go back. The staff and the camp facilities were all up to the highest standards in all areas.
