Great location for our Carilion Children's Family Camp each year. Plenty of activities for the kids and parents alike. Fairly well kept with few exceptions. Dining area is clean and easily accessible, as well as handicap accessibility to the pool.

Had a great retreat last year in April. It’s a beautiful place. It was our first time. So there were some road bumps. 1st, was the food, we have Several ladies, with food allergies. we had talked to them about it, the problem was miss communication between office staff and the food staff. The great thing was that they tried really hard to help us. That was the only thing that was a major issue. We loved it so much we are going back this year.

This is a really good combination of a summer camp, event facility, and concert Center. There are adequate large sized spaces for meetings, but there are also great amenities for fun, especially in warmer weather. There are a variety of housing facilities, some of which are more hotel-style and some of which are more lodge or bunkroom styles. I would say don't expect a hotel experience, but private rooms and bathrooms for families are nice to have. The lake views and general scenery are really nice, and there is just a whole lot to do here when you come visit.

Great place, all around property well maintained. Been there 3/4 times for men's work shop. I'll be back again. Fine staff, never go hungry, kitchen staff goes out of their way to serve you

Great place for a retreat! Kitchen staff are wonderful, food was good! Rooms comfortable! Beautiful walking places and peaceful lake area where people can sit and enjoy the scenery!
