Excellent service! I had my 05 Excursion in for service at the dealership a couple of times and the service performed wasn't completed correctly. I'm not one to complain but enough was enough! A friend of mine who owns a shop (Billy's Auto in Keego Harbor) suggest Motor City Diesel and boy was he right. My truck has not run this smooth in years, I'm a customer for life!

Poor workmanship & lies by Eric Wallace, as the work was done a while back, the motor sat as i changed the build, then i moved, but this is unacceptable work on their part. The use of RTV silicone is one thing in certain places on a 6.0 Powerstroke motor, but on the rear cover, this is a NO NO to say the least. Before i put the motor back in, I had a reputable shop put a cam, heavy duty springs & push rods, as the motor will get a compound turbo setup. This is what was found in the motor, which will destroy a hpop, among other things, if it blocked oil passages, well you get the idea of what is going to happen to the entire motor.

Always see amazing trucks coming here so I can say this must be one of the top places around for diesels never had a chance to get work done but I have talked to employees here they seemed really knowledgeable and honest about everything. Wish I would have taken my two 7.3s here instead of a regular auto shop. Do yourself a favor, if you have a diesel take it to a diesel specialty shop I learned the hard way and wasted over 4 grand in my 02

I purchased a truck out of state and when it arrived, I noticed it was leaking some coolant from the radiator. I took it to the Ford dealer who told me they wouldn't be able to check it out for 3-4 days! I had a 30 day warranty from the dealer I purchased it from, so needless to say that timing made me nervous. I called Motor City Diesel and they told me they would get it in straight away, so I headed over. Dealing with Blake was a pleasure, he got the truck in and shortly thereafter, Blake called me to inform me the truck indeed needed a new radiator. I explained that this dealer in TN would be footing the bill, and Blake was happy to deal with the Dealer directly and keep me out of it completely, huge relief! The next day the radiator was installed and the truck was ready for pickup. John who was the technician on my F250 walked me through what he did and was both professional and courteous. While they were just doing their jobs, their professionalism and speedy service earned them a loyal customer. Thank you MCDP for the awesome service!! You guys rock!

Solid group of mechanics that do the job right. Mainly work on Ford's but they were able to get my Duramax done. Took about a month for an injector swap.
