Great Selection and Prices. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a lot of variety and that includes designer clothing. I always enjoy my shopping experience when I am there, plus I go home with stylish and beautiful clothes. They also have a great show and handbag selection. I would rather shop here than go to the mall.

I decided to meander in after visiting a few stores looking for leather pants. I'm glad I did, as the PERFECT pair had been placed on the 50% off rack! Anyway, a bit about this place: You don't get hassled or tackled as soon as you walk in by a salesperson. I walked in, glanced at all the sections and placements, and began to browse. They were setting up the shop for some sort of television deal as well, so people were probably a bit more preoccupied than normal. I appreciated the space given by the staff. I'd say it was about 10 minutes or so, after I had tried on the pants before I was approached, which is fine. I explained my focus when perusing the shirts, and the sales girl gave me some ideas. In the end, I purchased lambskin leather pants and a gorgeous lacy top - that looks fabulous on my daughter! I will definitely go back again. The pricing is excellent, great quality, and I really appreciated the staff giving me that space. You've found a frequent customer, and hold the size 8 leather stuff for me!
I absolutely love this store! This is honestly my favorite place to shop in St. Louis. There are so many great items that I usually end up with an entire rack of clothes to try on. Everyone should shop here- there are so many great designer pieces that are marked down to an affordable price. It's refreshing to know that I can purchase a well made/designer item for my closet and not break the bank. You need to check this place out! Happy shopping! You won't be disappointed.
The items I've looked at, pants/trousers, tops/blouse and other items were well loved (well used), and highly priced. I've been in the store about 14 times in the past 10 months, (I live and work close by), I've only purchased 1 pair of shoes. I'm really trying to support this store, but until they get better quality and different sizes (size 10 and up), I will not be able to shop or recommend this store to my clientele. I find better items (and much better prices) at their competition, and there is plenty of competition here in the Lou. I have also taken my own personal items there, with the tags on, and it was not their style. I did, however, receive a healthy check, again, from their competition. (They were happy to receive my items!). We are all not a size 0,2,4. I am a 10 (size and personality) and so are most of my primarily, female clientele. Started shopping there when they were there in Sunset Hills, long time consumer, but they changed when they moved and went on the reality show.
Very cute shop. Everything was organized nicely. I left a two items on consignment with them. I will check them out before I need formal wear for an event. I'm a stay home mom, so my need for designer day wear is not much.
Awesome experience today. Customer service couldn't have been better. Friendly, courteous staff! Love this place. The staff helped me find several nice coordinating outfits. Very nice high end boutique priced right! I will be back.
Women's Closet Exchange gets a five star rating! The service was friendly and helpful. I was offered water or coffee by a delightful worker. I tried on six sweaters and three pairs of designer jeans. The store had so many treasures to offer! I bought two sweaters a pair of designer jeans and a new designer leather handbag for a steal! This is my new favorite store! There is no doubt I'll be back for more!
I found this a decent place to shop for designer clothing items, however unless they are on sale, the pricing is not much better than retail. Most disappointing was their attitude about consignment, I'll go elsewhere in the future for that. One day I brought in about 40 items, most of them were formal gowns and cocktail dresses bought in the last year or so and worn once. A few had matching shoes and purses. I was shocked that they turned down ALL of them! 40 really nice items and they could not accept even ONE??? Unbelievable! No explanation nor reason was given. Shocked! Maybe they were over-stocked or something, but if so it would be nice to be told that before I hauled it all inside. If you'd like to consign designer clothing, it may not be worth the time and trouble to bother bringing it to Women's Closet Exchange. Many of the exact same items were accepted at other 'upscale resale' shops.
