I'm too old to be shopping in this store but when I go on vacation I always pick up a few things from here. I know it doesn't sound flattering but I refer to the clothes from this store as disposable. They are reasonably priced for how long they'll last.

The clothing at this location is losing its appeal. It’s tight, runs small, and they are beginning to lack variety here. I haven’t been able to make a purchase at this location in a while.

Terrible customer service experience. They should to re- train their personal from top to bottom. They make returns and exchanges so difficult - I’m not purchasing anything else from Papaya.

Went into this store because I was curious and the fact that there's not one in Myrtle Beach, SC. Most of the clothes I found to be trendy and in style. I guess i wasn't clear on the return/exchange policy before I bought a non-sale and sale item. Once the sale was finalized and I got my receipt it was already too late and I saw the policy on the receipt. To see that you can't at least exchange a sale item for another sale item was somewhat annoying because the crop top that I bought had an elastic band that was too tight. I thought I could deal with it being that way but it really bothered me. So I wanted to exchange for something that was more comfortable, well the manager wouldn't even do that, the system won't allow me and every employee is trained to let the customer know about this policy!! I felt there was something more she could've done but was disappointing she didn't after I begged and said I would make up the difference if I had to. This company should re-consider there return/exchange policy and be a little more forgiving like some other stores if they don't want to scare off the customer!

If I could give it this a 0 I would, So the workers at the papaya in Potomac mills mall (about 3 of them including a guy) were conversing amongst themselves in Spanish referring to black shoppers in their store as black monkeys, it's sad to see such blatant racism in 2017, it's almost 2018 and for them to be this comfortable to be viciously racist to them people that are spending their money in there it is ridiculous! When a black Latina woman overheard and confronted them and asked for the managers number they refused to give it to her and security had to be contacted. I really hope someone in charge sees this and takes appropriate measures because I will never shop at any papaya until then and I will be blogging this where thousands of local people will see. The incident happened between 5 and 6 today. No one should be abused like this when they go to a store to spend their hard earned money.

This facility is VERY racist. The employees sit there & use racial slurs/remarks against the Black shoppers in spanish as if we're too ignorant to understand what the hell they're saying ! Then when you confront them, they be ready to piss their pants & act like there isn't a manager present ! I've met multiple bilingual Black people since my 2015 experience who say they refuse to support Papaya's business as well cause of this. Creating this odious atmosphere for the very people who you not only collect your money from, but get your business purpose from (AAVE is on half of your products !) is idiotic. And if you do not fire these employees for their abhor remarks then I will see about ACLU cleaning out your little paper weight business for you. Looking at your other reviews, it won't be hard !
