Nice, clean store, and with a variety of outdoor gear. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. Disappointed in the poor selection of ammunition and the droves of customers there specifically to check for ammo. Would also like to see more of a selection of made in America knives and other tools.
Just saw two Cabela's employees verbally assault a male senior citizen over not wearing a mask. Posturing, raised voices. They managed to intimidate him. So much for the legal medical exemption to masks. Never felt so ashamed to have ever spent a dime at an establishment. Done with this store.
Great store and great service compared to the Rogers,Mn location. I came here by chance a few months back & have continued to do so. The people here offer far better service & attention than Rogers store for some reason.
Needless to say this was a new gun that I purchased at Cabalas in Woodbury. The day I purchased the gun this was not noticed, after a 3 day waiting period for a background check I returned to the store to pickup the firearm, and immediately opened the box after getting in my truck because they stuck the rifle in a box and and taped it shut for me to “leave the store”. Once noticed I demanded an exchange or a refund. The three people I spoke to said no and offered me a 50 dollar gift card. After repeatedly demanding that 50 dollars off a scratched up gun wasn’t enough they did not care. All I wanted was a nice gun and now I’m left with this which will be a constant reminder not to return to this store. And just a side note I talked to others employees at Cabelas who say they can return a firearm with the proper approval, this store just didn’t care enough to do so.
