It was such a pleasure to work with everyone at Twin City Fireplace in Woodbury. We updated our entire fireplace, switching from wood burning to gas, from brick to stone, and also installed a reclaimed wood mantle. Mike helped us pick a proper unit for our space, and organized and scheduled the project seamlessly from start to finish. Derek and Andy removed our old fireplace unit, installed our Mendota and the wood mantle with the utmost professionalism, and were polite, conscientious and pleasant to have in our home. The masons, Jesse and Jake, did an outstanding job on the stonework. It really is a work of art and I appreciate their attention to detail and effort to achieve the look I wanted while also protecting the mantle. We strongly recommend Twin City Fireplace in Woodbury, for any fireplace project.

We had a new fireplace installed and a current fireplace serviced by Twin City Fireplace & Stone. Jim and Tony who managed the job were professional and helpful. Andy and Derick who did the actual work at our home where polite, ensured the work was done to our satisfaction and stayed later in the evening after 6pm to make sure it the work was done on time. Thank you! We love our new fireplace!

We highly recommend Twin City Fireplace & Stone. Mike Becker and his people at the Woodbury location were a joy to work with! Mike was very kind, patient, and thorough when we came to the showroom. All our questions were answered, as we selected our wonderful Mendota fireplace. Mike’s crews of electrician Erik Werner, installers Derek & Andy, and stone masons Rob &Derek were all true craftsmen. This place is a joke. They must be allergic to money because I had a lot of it I wanted to give them and they couldn’t even give me the time of day. Wanted to upgrade our current wood burning fire place to something more efficient. Called in, gave them the measurements and they asked me to come in to their showroom. I went in the next day and found the fireplace I wanted and asked to get an installation day on the calendar. They said they couldn’t do that until they had someone come look at the current fireplace I had. Tried to set up a time while I was in person but they just said they’ll call me. Waited a few days, nothing. Called them and they said their wood burning fireplace guy wasn’t in to make an appointment so he’d call me when he was back in. Never heard back. Called a week later to get the manager on the phone, he apologized and said they’d make it a priority to get out to my house that week. And that was the last I heard of it. Beyond awful experience.

We used Twin Cities Fire place to convert our inefficient wood burning fire place into a gas unit. We visited both store locations in Woodbury and Edina and the sales staff was friendly and not pushy. They took their time to explain all the differences in models and price point options. The owner Chris came out to our house too measure and answer our questions. After deciding on a unit Chris sent us a bid. He was also very patient with us when we changed our minds 3 times. After a few phone conversations with Chris we finally decided and scheduled an install date. The crew was on time and very polite. They laid down drop cloths on the floors everywhere they were walking. After finishing the install they showed us how to use the unit and answered our questions. We started enjoying the fireplace that night. It’s really nice zone heating the living space and turning the temperature down in the rest of the house. The ambiance is great and we might even save some money on our heating bill. We are very happy with our gas insert and Twin Cities Fire Place. Before and after photos attached.
