Been going here for over a year with no problems, fasts, efficient and great customer service. Change in management/ownership to Pep Boys has not been good. Took forever to drop car off for warranty tire repair, tire rotation and oil change. While waiting to drop car off, another customer that was picking his car up had his tire mounted the wrong way on the wheel, that didn't inspire confidence but figured it just a fluke. Car was suppose to be done by 5, got there @ 5 said it would be done in a few minutes, waited over 45 min extra because battery was dead in car from leaving door open with electrical components on. Again, not happy but mistakes happen. Final icing on the cake was driving the car home tire pressure light came on. I checked tire pressure when I got home, it was over inflated by 10 PSI, on the same tire that was suppose to be repaired and in the same position it was before, so tires were never rotated. Lost a customer tonight, be wary of bringing your vehicle here. UPDATE: Noticed oil leak underneath car, I took into dealership because I didn't trust bring it back to them. They didn't screw in the oil plug all the way and was leaking oil from that. Worst car service ever.
The Elliott guys are a good shop. They are friendly and they do their job well. They care about customers' opinion and follow up with you to make sure you are happy with their service. Initially we didn't get to a very good start - I came to change oil and ended up with 500 bill and it caught me off guard. It was partly my fault - they asked if I wanted these things done before actually doing it and I agreed. These guys are definitely on the \sensitive\ side and they'll recommend fixing safety-related things like breaks in advance (at 70-80% wear). On the other hand, they don't invent things that don't need to be fixed. So, if you want them to do something particular - be very specific. And if you want them to check your entire car - be ready to talk about the things they have found and be clear on what you want to get done or not. Their customer focus is very high. For example, after they did wheel rotation on my vehicle and my car started shaking when going at high speeds, they re-checked it, identified that the (now) front tires were cupped and rotated the wheels back for free. And when I pointed that one of the tires was leaking air after I took it back from their service, they agreed to check and fix it, again for free.
Everyone has been very nice and helpful. The staff is very professional. Erin was a huge help when it comes to picking out the right tires for me.. She was very knowledgeable.. Thank you guys for an all-around great experience. I'll be back !!
