This is a nice place to stop for fuel or a quick bite to eat. have to say I have been to many rest stops and this one was pretty nice and clean. I went there in the middle of the night it was pretty empty and most of the stuff was closed but there were some things that were open to get beverages and snacks. Got a burger there have to say a lot of stuff is pretty pricey. But that is standard for turnpike rest stops. Still give you five stars thank you for being open.

The manager at Roy Rogers in the morning (6am) is a goober. He saw us standing waiting for someone to help us and instead of just taking care of us himself we watched him search all around the kitchens of the Pizza Hut and Quiznos trying to find the cashier who pretty much just had to hand us our sandwiches and ring us up. We would have been out of there by the time he found her if he would have just taken care of us to begin with. Also the bathrooms are usually always dirty.
Clean restroom. Discourteous and condescending on-customer service\ from cashier named Fedila. Buyers beware. Line was delayed due previous customer waiting for credit for overcharge. Register did not have correct price. Supervisor had to be called for adjustment. Supv gave bags from the adjoining register to two customers ahead of me. She smirked and began to debate with me. She reached for the bag and then said there were no more, but the bags could be seen below the register. Yet, Fedila refused to give me a bag. Maybe, it was because I questioned food pricing due to misleading meal signage. Her response suggested that multiple people had interpreted the sign the same as I had. Obviously, the sign is confusing and should be replaced with a clear price list. Roy Rogers charged 11 for fries and 3 tenders is pricey considering most fast food places offer value meals. (For example: Hardees charges 5 for 5 jumbo tenders/fries/drink.) Roy's has two prices for fries, but they only offered one size(the higher priced one) for purchase. It seems that they playing a gotcha game with pricing due to lack of oversight. The hardship of the pandemic for consumers is being exploited with shady pricing and sales practices. They obviously think the average traveler won't take the time to investigate how to lodge a complaint. They probably assume that you are so hungry that you won't care. Please take the time to report any problems that you have at this rest area. That is the only way New Jersey State will correct it. 1) Please train and instruct cashiers (especially Fedila) to be courteous and not debate customers. 2)Please post an accurate price list of all items. 3)Please try to offer value meals so people on a tight budget can afford rest stop meals, too. It is unfortunate that some people try exert authority to feel better about themselves at the expense of others. Maybe, if staff saw the value in their work as essential, this microaggression would occur less.
Good place to rest. Just off the turnpike. Easy parking.
