Poor experience; management was condescending when dealing with apartment issue - Sandy did not provide level of service over the course of weeks/months that is attributable to the rent paid on the complex. Would not recommend living here with so many other better managed apartment complexes in the area. I have moved out of my unit and recommend people look elsewhere.

I lived at The Woods on barton skyway from 2003-2005 while at UT. I'm sure it's been updated or renovated since that time but I loved it. It was very reasonable for a spacious 1 bdrm, particularly compared to newer apt's off mopac. Prior to living at the Woods I lived at the Gables right off Mopac very close to barton skyway. Hands down I preferred The Woods. The Gables was newer but it was not worth the added expense, and setting aside the price difference I still felt the Woods was much more comfortable. Apartments don't always feel like home to me but I never had that experience at the Woods. Amenities were solid- nice pool, adequate gym, nice staff, well maintained community areas, excellent parking; I loved how shaded it was and it felt nice and tucked away although you were minutes from zilker, downtown, walking distance to green belt and most importantly Taco Deli. Good times.
I've lived at this community for 2 years now and can't say enough great things about it. They keep the grounds clean and safe. Sandy and Samantha (leasing office staff) are always there to help or give my dog a treat whatever the task they will be there for you. When I've submitted a maintenance request on the rare occasion, they are prompt and respectful when entering my apartment. The neighbors are really sweet and it feels like a connected community. Also it's so nice to be able to walk the greenbelt whenever I want!
We’ve lived here for two years and I honestly don’t have any complaints. Sandy and Rudy are always really helpful. I haven’t had to wait for than 24 hours to get something fixed. Great area. Nice amenities. Mostly just very happy with the staff.
I've lived at The Woods for just about seven years. I started in a one bedroom and moved into a two bedroom after a couple of years in order to have a little space for a home office. The staff are consistently friendly and helpful. I sincerely believe they do everything in their power to make the life of the residents as pleasant as possible. They've gone above and beyond for me a couple of times. On the rare occasion when I've filed a service request, the problems have been addressed promptly and professionally. The grounds are kept clean and well maintained. I've enjoyed the pool in the summer.
