We went to Helping Paws hoping to find two cats for our family. With the help of the staff, Katie, Mary and Donna, we were able to find and adopt two amazing kittens! The staff was wonderful and they truly care. The building is super clean and doesn’t give off a gross smell like some other shelters. Overall we had an amazing experience!

We adopted our dog from Helping Paws at the beginning of April during the extremely busy opening weeks of the COVID-19 Pandemic. During that period, we contacted many shelters, and we consistently found that Helping Paws was the most responsive, kind, and engaged. Additionally, they walked us through each step and took extra time to ensure that our dog's transition into our home and family would be smooth for her and for the humans. :) They were outstanding, and I would highly recommend them to others!

Helping Paws assisted us in adopting a puppy (Fannie May) three days ago, 2/17/21. She is going to be a sister to our current dog (Sansa), who we rescued two years ago. Donna and Liz were absolutely fantastic! The building is very clean, organized and the staff are very nice. Laura and I appreciated them allowing us to adopt Fannie May despite coming 62 miles one way from Waukesha, Wisconsin. We drove there three times during the last week to view the puppies they had, allow our dog to interact with them, and finally adopt Fannie May. Well worth the drive! They were not pushy at all, and provided a nice bag of information and toys for Fannie May. I would highly recommend them! If you see an animal there you would like to adopt, act quickly.

Sharon, Jenny, Donna, and Mary at Helping Paws were all amazing! We adopted two beautiful kittens who have made our household complete. We were put on the waiting list at first, but it was totally worth the wait. The facility is easy to find and is very clean and well kept. I would 100 percent recommend working with them if you are looking to adopt a pet.

Adopted my dog from here. I appreciate that they look into your previous dog/pet care before decided if you can adopt a pet. When we decide to rescue another dog we will be going back to helping paws
