I can't begin to tell you how much we are enjoying being at Show Me Farm. We have been there almost three months. We board our large pony and my daughter takes lessons. We are pleased with our pony's care and never have to worry about him. He has received a ton of TLC especially during all of the horrible winter weather. My daughter is really enjoying her lessons and is learning so much. The barn and grounds are very well taken care of and there is a wonderful family atmosphere. The owner/trainer encourages discipline and ownership in the girls that ride/board there.
I first went here when I was around 6-7 The horse that I was riding was named honey!
Day 2 and Danielle got another Reserve Champion and was 6th place in the Beg Walk/Trot Hunter Under Saddle Challenge!! I'm not sure what the fancy names mean, but I AM SURE that there were over 15 people in that ring with Danielle today, and some were adults!! For her very first horse show, I'm just in awe of her. The love and support from her Aunt Sara contributed to so much of this success. 0500 feedings so Danni could sleep, tacking, wrapping, hoof packing, and chasing down her runaway pony just to name a few! You can see in the pics just how much she looks up to her Aunt. My family has been an amazing support in this...Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Willy, and Uncle DJ...THANK YOU! Huge thank you to her trainer, Hillary Blackinton and Show Me Farm! The dedication and talent that was exhibited this weekend was truly amazing. I'm not sure I've ever witnessed that level of dedication from a trainer. Hillary, You ARE AMAZING, and I thank the Good Lord everyday that you are leading us in this journey! We are truly blessed.
