We went to the Hitchcock movie marathon and had a great time. Small beautiful theater with beautiful velvet seats. Lovely place!

It's a beautiful, historic venue and the wonderful staff and local artists take full advantage of it with the spectacular shows they host. The stairs up to the balcony are a bit steep, but they do have an elevator to the \ground\ floor on the second story. The ground seating is all wonderful, though for any production that has a live pit I'd recommend sitting a couple rows back. That said, while I've never sat up front (I love the balcony), I've heard it's not too loud most of the time. In the balcony, try to sit close to center. The side seats in the balcony have limited stage views, and you can see back stage. That said, this really only affects plays and musicals and for most other programming you don't have to worry about it. All in all the theater is beautiful, the programming is top notch, and the people are friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend visiting the Opera House for any event you can.

The building is absolutely beautiful. It was very cool to be able to experience going into the building. The show was amazing. The only downfall is the seating. My seats were the right side of the balcony, second row. Couldn't see the stage at all from where I was sitting. Especially after people sat in the front row. I missed 75% of the play. Seats were reasonably priced, however for missing most of the show it wasn't really worth it. If you are thinking about going try to get seats on the front row of the balcony or the middle of the balcony or down on the main floor.

Fantastic place for musicals, concerts & plays. We have been to about 20 shows since opening the B&B 20 months ago. Everything is really high quality. Events for all ages.

The historic Woodstock Opera house is a great place to watch a show, be out a traveling show or local community theater group.
