This is such a great addition to the Wooster area and Wayne County in general. It seems so hard to find organic and minimal ingredients in chocolate and Wooster Chocolate Co. does just that. If you want to know where your chocolate comes from and EXACTLY what's in it...look no further. I was so impressed with the great customer service I received here. They gave information on the different chocolates they have and even recommended what the best buy is for a first time visitor who could be overwhelmed. As for the prices, I feel like they are well priced considering you are getting quality organic non-gmo cocoa beans imported through fair trade practices and the chocolate is freshly made right in the store as opposed to just melted down bars. So just know that when going for the first time, if you want cheap mediocre chocolate, just stop at your local grocery store. If you want an organic great tasting chocolate that has minimal ingredients then definitley check this place out. *I forgot to add, it's perfect if you want your kids to stay out of your chocolate as well. LoL

They have lots of games to play, and buy if you like them which is a neat idea. They also have drinking chocolate. I am a fan of truffles, and they have around 9 to 10 flavors, but I prefer a larger variety. I also did not see a lot of flavored eating chocolates which I normally see in a chocolate store. However they did have a lot of misc. candies. I neat place to stop in, but I would like to see more chocolate.

Delicious chocolates (we brought home 6 to try though there were many many more options) and soft serve ice cream. We didn’t try the drinking chocolate this time but will definitely be back! Great atmosphere, plenty of seating and games to play, friendly staff, clean bathrooms. Go eat chocolate and support a great addition to downtown Wooster!!

We are from Cleveland, so we are used to Malley's - a Cleveland legend. However, I would drive from Cleveland to visit Wooster Chocolate Company in a heartbeat. They are not even in the same universe of experience. Wooster Chocolate Company is a very new concept - all the chocolates are lactose free, and they provide certified origin information for five regions. The tastes are so unique that we felt like we were eating completely different treats as we opened different wrappers. We shared with our children the locations and discussed the flavors we noticed in each of the chocolates. Some were spicy, some were smooth, others were more savory or bitter. Our family ended up being drawn to chocolate from Honduras. The shop allows you to taste many different things, and they gave us samples of drinking chocolate (which is about the equivalent of taking hot chocolate and giving it a flavor that goes beyond "sweet"). The product is pricey, but it is well worth the experience. Although we limited ourselves on the first trip to a few small bars to sample, we plan to go in for some more exotic tastes next time. What an amazing store!

I gave the 70% dark chocolate to the head surgeon at Cleveland Clinic as a gift. He looked at the ingredient label and said this is great. He said when you can put all the ingredients on two lines and know what they are it is a good product. Most cheaper chocolates have alot of ingredients. Wooster only had three on the label. So I thought i would share that as I did not know this. The fact that it tastes better is a plus when many healthy foods do not taste great to me.

This place is awesome. It's everything a small business should be. I'm proud to have this business in my town. The chocolate is the best and the staff couldn't be sweeter.

The chocolate is tasty but way way overpriced. For instance, two chocolate peanut butter cups the size of quarters at 2.25. There would be no way I could come here on any regular basis. Additionally, I would recommend adding an option for non-vegans. I really enjoy milk chocolate with cow's milk and possibly this product could be cheaper, which would attract me to the store.

Holy chocolate induced coma! If you appreciate artisanal chocolate made from cocoa beans then this place is for you. The owners are extremely knowledgeable and passionate about REAL chocolate. This is not your little brother's boring Hershey bar - this is Quetzalcoatl's personal stash.
