I went in for a basic procedure. The oral surgeon (Albert Kang) was an amazing fellow. He was very polite, reassuring, and had a positive energy. He numbed me up well, I didn’t feel a thing. He was done in under a minute (simple gum excision). My gum looks as good as new with no noticeable scars. The only thing I can negatively comment on doesn’t have to do with the Doctor. It has to do with one of his assistants. It was discovered that my blood pressure was pretty high upon arrival. The first assistant who checked it was very polite (a younger girl). She wanted to double check with another assistant that it wasn’t too high to do the surgery. I heard her go outside the room and tell the other assistant my reading to which she exclaimed “JESUS CHRIST!!” very loudly. I felt this was unprofessional and kind of dumb seeing as it’s not a big surgical area and this nurse must be aware that patients are all within ear shot. I was already feeling nervous and her loud comment did not help. If I remember correctly she was a white woman, about 30-40 years old with tattoos. Anyways, I’d return because the doctor was very good. But, the loud exclamatory comment has bugged me to this day and I felt the need to mention it hoping the office sees this review and makes note of it.

AMAZING doctors and staff. Everyone here is very professional My 6 year old son had to undergo surgery to remove extra teeth. He was put under general anesthesia. I felt 100% comfortable and safe that he was going to be okay under their hands. I would recommend these great people to anyone that needs caring oral surgeons.

Saw Dr. Vellis For a dental implants. He explained everything to me thoroughly an answered any and all of my questions. This staff were extremely knowledgeable and compassionate to very nervous patient. Would recommend Dr. Vellis and this office for anyone who needs to see an oral surgeon.
