A very serene and prayerful retreat center.. Open to women of all faiths, for those seeking a quiet setting.. The guest house is on the Abbey grounds... meals are on your own.. bring your own food or eat from a stocked kitchen. Chapel open for masses and prayers, vigils, vespers, etc from around 6 am til after Compline.. Run by Trappestine Sisters of the Strict Observance.. Priest of the order says mass and is available for confessions. Home of Trappestine Quality Candy.. fudge , chocolate , munch etc Gift Shop open or order on line The best of the best

Excellent chocolates try the butternut munch, and just buy an extra box because you will want it. You can get great jams here too. The Abby is quiet and peaceful. A great place to shop and visit. Highly recommend.

I've been on Retreat here several times, and have enjoyed a deeply peaceful sacred environment. The Trappistine sisters who live out their lives here are both joyful and prayerful. I regularly visit the Chapel to chant and pray with the sisters at Vespers time. The gift shop is fairly new, and extensive. For those seeking peace, Mount Saint Mary's Abbey is a true Refuge.

A beautiful location with amazing people. I bought chocolate for my entire family and a couple friends from them, as well as attended a short service. It was a great experience overall and I'd go back if I lived in the country
