Overall, these reviews are consistent with my experience with Yankee Mailbox: great product, terrible communication. I ordered my mailbox/post/install combo 12 weeks ago and just got the install this week. When I finally heard back from them several days after placing my order, they did inform me it would be about 6-8 weeks, so I wasn't expecting it anytime soon. Fortunately, I was not in a hurry for it, and I do understand that I am in NH, almost at the extent of their delivery area. I figured they probably wanted to combine my install with more in my area to make up for the distance, and I get that. If they just would have communicated with me, I'd have no issues whatsoever. As for the product, it's a great mailbox/post and I'm very happy with it. I liked that the pricing was reasonable and all upfront online. The installers worked quickly, professionally, and safely on my busy street during rush hour. To clarify another reviewer's comment—they do *not* send an invoice when you order. They send a confirmation that clearly identifies it as not an invoice, and they are pretty clear about paying only after the install. (And after the install, boy, does that invoice show up quickly... If only they'd respond to their customers with such diligence!) The negative reviews seem to be more recent. I truly hope whatever the reason is for their customer service struggles is only a short-term thing and they get it sorted out soon. 12/29/20 – I'm here editing a small typo, but I thought I'd give an update on the product. Three months in, and I'm still thrilled with the mailbox. It's big enough for packages, and the slide-out tray comes in handy, too. I especially like the clasp that holds the door securely closed. This should help keep bugs and caterpillars out of my mail... don't put a mailbox under a tree if you can help it, folks. Would I buy it again? As long as I'm not in a hurry for it, absolutely yes!

I agree with negative posts. The absolute worst customer service ever. God forbid if something goes wrong with your product. NEVER return calls. NEVER answer email. NEVER correspond back at all. F minus. Buyer beware
I should have researched more carefully. Sadly this company is not interested in their customers. Do yourself a favor and search google for another installation service. There are good companies willing to actually take care of business. This company does not care at all.
Terrible customer service. No one responds to emails and they never answer the phone. Ordered a mailbox 6 weeks ago. Have emailed and called looking for an update on installation and no one responds. I realize there are delays with the current situation but doesn’t mean they can’t return your emails.
I don't understand how this company is in business and has the positive reviews that it has! I ordered a mailbox through them because they had good reviews, but the process is horrible. You order online and you receive an email with an invoice stating that your mailbox will be installed within 4 weeks of your invoice. After it's installed, you pay them. I made one change to it since the initial invoice and it's been 5 weeks since the second invoice and I haven't heard anything from them, so I called them and left a voicemail and their voicemail tells you to email them, but they haven't responded to my email or voicemail! It's ridiculous. I had to email them back to cancel my order. I shouldn't have to beg a company to let me do business with them. I do not recommend them, unless you feel like getting annoyed for no reason.
