ARED restored my long awaited settee given to me from my Grandfather so long ago and over the years had gotten into quite a disarray! The craftsmanship was impeccable, I was so excited to see the settee restored to its former glory, it’s quite the masterpiece. This piece of furniture had so many memories and now I can hand it down to my children to create more.

They did a fantastic job remodeling an antique chair. The chair was over 150 years old, in my wife's family for generations, and in bad shape from years of neglect. They worked with me to get it just the way I wanted it using fabric I provided. I could not be happier. It was not cheap (1200.00), but this was not something I could have done myself.

Hired this company to refurbish / refresh a 4 chair dinette set that had a leaf and was originally finished in a white wash finish. These folks are fast talking Snake Oil Salesmen except their snake oil is furniture refinishing which I didn't see any level of professional competency in. My chairs were supposed to be re glued at the bases and they weren't. Just tacked. Then they tried to convince me with their fast talking BS that they were glued at the tips. LOL. No glue was visible in the holes only the nail tack. So, I believe the chairs weren't taken apart or glued. The table had to be taken back twice in order to get the finish right. The finish being an off white lacquer that didn't blend well with the rest of the table's finish. Again, no real proficiency, attention to detail, or craftsmanship seen. Then I'm told by the workers that the lighting in their facility isn't very good. And, this should be corrected once they move to another facility. What?! How can anyone properly refinish furniture professionally without proper lighting? And why wasn't this told to me in the beginning? Would never use again nor can I recommend.

Save your money and go somewhere else, they will charge way too much for the services they offer to perform. A simple bed frame repair tripled in price after additional work was proposed to strengthen the design. That extra work amounted to 15 extra screws and a quick amount of work not nearly worth the premium paid. Ultimately, I probably could have done the work myself for a fraction of the cost. Afterwards, when I followed up on the phone, they were unapologetic and evasive. While the bed frame is sturdy again (it was a minor repair), the fit and finish isn't great. You owe it to yourself to shop around more before you go with these guys. I sure wish I did.

I have had the honor to work side by side for 10 years with The owner Ernik, he has been working on antiques all around collin county and Dallas county area for almost 20 years, and another 10 years doing it overseas. He’s a true craftsman! In his lifetime he has worked on Tens of thousands of antiques and double that on other furniture related pieces, his work may not be “cheap” depending on what the project is and the restoration it requires, but he will always work until the client is happy. To this day he still has not turned a single customer away due to inability to repair/restore. His care and attention to everyone’s furniture remains equal. Don’t judge him off of the couple people that were unhappy bc of their own misunderstanding. Be your own judge, meet Ernik, see his album of beautiful before and after photos, as well as hundreds of references.
