This is a sleeper hit spot in the East Bay. Currently as of 2/18/2021, they are not doing dine in. Take out only. I highly recommend the Fish fragrant eggplant 鱼香茄子. It is cooked perfectly and pairs well with any rice dish or plain rice. The Shanghai potstickers 锅贴 is filled with good flavor and the texture is wonderful. The Shanghai soup dumplings will taste great fresh out of the steamers if one is to dine in. Hopefully that will be soon. Also tasty, the "夫妻肺片“ (lung meat) is spicy, delicious and pairs well with some fried rice. One caveat is the Shengjianbao, barely any sesame seeds on the bottom. Hope to see more of them in the future! Support a local business! It filled our Chinese fix :)

This is a hidden gem. The service was excellent, neat and organized dining area. Especially loved the windowed dumpling making area. We sampled several item and looking forward to many, many delicious returns. Dumplings

Consistently a winner. Back when we could dine-in, this was our favorite weekend spot to take all of friends and family. Now, it's our favorite takeout spot! Whether in the restaurant or just picking up, all of our orders have come out fresh, quick, and delicious. Crab Xiao Long Baos and Pan Fried Pork Buns are a must have. Also, don't sleep on their Yang Chow Fried Rice or Beef Noodle Soup. Get a hot Soy Bean Milk and Chinese Donut to dip for the full experience.

Yummy dumplings! The XLB soup dumplings come out piping hot, with the right amount of soup, filling, and delicate wrapper. The pan fried dumplings surprisingly also had soup in them. The green onion pancakes were a nice mixture of crispy on the outside, chewy, and not oily.

I was looking forward to this for dinner but after a few bites everything was so underwhelming. The rice was still lumped together from being steamed? The dumplings were terrible.

This place is a solid choice. Coming from the Cupertino area where there are many Chinese restaurants, this place can even be competitive in Cupertino. The price is very reasonable, and the food is great!

Most authentic Shanghainese cuisine in the Bay area. Try the pan fried pork buns (sheng jian bao).

XLB and spicy wontons are the best here, def would go again! Best eaten right away though, got take out a second time and it got cold quite fast.
