Visiting from out of town, I was warmly welcomed by Eddy (Eddie?) at the front desk, and was told where to find the locker room, etc. I found the gym lay-out to be easy to use, found ample availability of equipment and space, and other members were welcoming. The pool area was very nice, and I enjoyed swimming laps. Although the hot tub was not in service, the sauna was spacious and not too hot, as some are for me. The locker rooms and showers could use some updating. As I left, I had a nice chat with Eddy. So far, this is the best of the 3 Xperience gyms I've visited in the Twin Cities area.

Called them about 6 times on 2 different phones during the hours they were open. They would pick, not say anything, and then hang up. Small gym. Need to clean/fix up their locker rooms. Would not recommend this gym.
Yeah its dim and not kept up the best. But if you get the 20 a month membership you can go to any xperience. Plus most health insurance plans pays up to 20 a month, so it could be free if you go 12x a month. Some of the staff are super friendly. Met some nice people while working out. I had Lifetime before and it was way too expensive. This is just nice, easy, cheap and friendly.
I think the prices are fairly decent for what you really get; as compared to other fitness centers. The staff is friendly. I like the variety of equipment available and the selection of classes. I like the location since it's not far to drive to for me. I do not like the packed parking lot. I do not like the inconsiderate customers who don't wipe equipment after use, don't put equipment away after use, or allow their children to run about. I do not like the ventilation or the temperature of the place (too warm). I do not like how equipment is visibly dirty, worn out, or broken (no weight sizes on the dumbells, weights being held to the pull bar by screws, etc.). And why is there only 1 drinking fountain (that I could find)? Overall, I feel I'm getting my money's worth and I don't have a terrible experience doing my workout routines. But I will probably consider a change in fitness centers in the future unless this place improves.
This place is horrible, the floors in the leading to the pool is dirty, I seen many small bugs crawling around the pool area. The staff are very rude and don't really care about what you do there, the atmosphere is not very friendly I wouldn't recommend at all I am changing gyms to something much better
There's always huge staff turnover which in itself is indicative of the operations down there. I tried to bring in a couple of guys on a 5 day trial that's issued through the web but were turned away because apparently the manager named James thought they didn't have intention to join. How do you define intention or how do you read one's intention? It's a clear case of profiling based upon one's ethnic background and orientation. I have sent multiple emails to their corporate but no response whatsoever. I'll also be sending a letter to the MN attorney general for this location to be investigated for bait and switch advertisement tactics which last time I checked was illegal in Minnesota.
I've been going there for years, and I have no complaints, except when it gets crowded and someone is on my machine. :) And, being into sports, I didn't have to sacrifice many games for my workout; because of the TVs.
Though the price was cheap, the quality was also cheap. The service was terrible. Upon signing up to be a member, the employee who was taking down my information was texting the entire time. He made me wait a long time while he texted and told me it was his boss. I sat there awkwardly while he laughed at his texts and looked at other people in the gym. He skipped some key questions on the form (emergency contact info, health info) which showed that the gym employees did not care about the safety of their patrons. The lighting was dim, and the gym seemed to always be crowded. Xperience Fitness makes cancelling a membership very difficult. You have to google "cancel membership with Xperience Fitness" just to find a completely different website where you get a form. You have to mail that form in to a PO box, and it for some reason takes 30 days to process.
