My wife and I had a very wild lab puppy with a lot of attitude. We dropped Addie off for puppy training and when we picked her up, she was a totally different dog. She learned basic commands and how to listen. Furthermore, she behaved better with our small dog at home. Jen did an excellent job training Addie and really took care of her. We can't recommend Y-Farms enough. We look forward to boarding our dogs at Y-Farms in the future!

We got our pup from Y-Farm Kennels and I cannot recommend them enough. My spouse and I often wish we lived closer so we could utilize the boarding services offered. Great family company!

We got our first lab (Dixie) from Y-farms in 2008. She just turned 12. At the beginning of March, we made the trek to Zachary to get our Dixie a playmate (Josie). Both of our girls are amazing and the result of outstanding breeding! Can’t say enough about Y-farms excellence!

I cannot say enough good things about Y-Farms Kennel, the owner, Jen & her staff!! My English Bulldog, Elly May, has been going to \Doggy Daycare\ a few days a week at Y-Farms since she turned 3 months old. Not wanting to leave a young puppy home alone 8 hours a day while I worked, but also knowing English Bulldogs require some special care & knowledge of the breed (i.e. Brachycephalics overheat / can suffer heat stroke very easily, so they can't be left outside even in mild LA heat) was my utmost concern. It was also important that she not be left in a kennel for much of the day as this would defeat the purpose. I decided a daycare setting would be perfect: providing exercise & play, potty training, socialization with other dogs, some basic obedience & of course, lots of love. I found all this at Y-Farms. I knew after the first week that Elly was treated really well because she would get excited when I'd drop her off, always greeting Jen or whoever met us with the \Elly hug.\ I highly recommend Y-Farms to anyone looking not just for training but other doggy care too. I also want to add that Y-Farms suffered a tremendous amount of flood damage to the home & kennel as a result of the August 2016 historical Louisiana flood. The kennel was repaired almost immediately & at the time of my writing this review (Feb 2017), repairs to the home are still underway (FEMA trailer was not delivered to the family until Jan 2017 - I know during that time, the family was without even some basic living accommodations). I note this because they did not allow this to negatively effect the care of the dogs; actions speaking of their love & commitment to our four legged fur babies.
