Great family fun, excellent value, well worth it. Volunteers were wonderful, would highly recommend. We will be coming back again for just the train ride this summer.

My cousins took me for the Chelatchie Prairie Railroad tour and we had the greatest time. The ride was really fun and the scenery was just awesome. We boarded the train and our conductor who was a woman punched our tickets and told us to hang on to them as thyroid went on she came around and was telling us about the scenery and what we were looking at and then also told us that our tickets would get us into the winery here to do a wine tasting events after the train right which was absolutely awesome we rode down to the winery and we got to pick three different wines cider or beer to taste. It's a very nice atmosphere in there and they also serve food along with their wine beer and cider I suggest it be a place to try out. Had a great time on the ride if you're in this area it's a definite event you might want to try out. Sincerely Mary

It was a pretty neat little train ride! Walked down to yacolt falls and dipped our feet in the water when we stopped at moultan station. It was a beautiful day for it, and my kids loved it!

First time taking the train. We did the Old West Train Robbery ride and we all had a great time. We should have brought a cooler with snacks and lunch but other than that a very enjoyable experience. The volunteers handed out bead necklaces and fake coins to have when the train is robbed. Great fun!! I would also recommend riding in the second car as the seats are more comfortable. On the way back though we rode in the caboose at the very top where there was a small windowed projection on the roof, called a cupola. We will definitely be going again and next time ride in the cupola both ways. The little trail to the Yacolt Falls wasn't bad and only took a few minutes. Great family outing!!

Our young kids had fun. Nice views. Fun little ride. Arrive early to get a good window seat on the caboose cars. Thanks to all the friendly volunteers that made our family ride special!
