Was quite disappointed in the bishops decision to not offer communion on the tongue for those who prefer the priest be the only one who touches the host. Almost tempted to skip mass as I was quite disappointed. Cannon law prescribes that this communion be available to all who want to receive in this manner may do so. Church was almost empty and we were visiting.

I am not Catholic, but planning to join. I was raised and confirmed Lutheran. I love Pope Francis and how he is turning the direction of the church towards the people. I want to be part of this movement. The architecture of the sanctuary is timeless.
I grew up going to this church. Returned years later for a wedding and it was like stepping threw time. Monsingor Ecker is the best.
