Dr. Zuo is very knowledgeable and compassionate. His understanding of the human body is extremely impressive and helpful. I have been going to him for various injuries over the years. He has helped me when it seemed no one else could. A few years ago I was having a lot of issues with my foot and no one I went to knew what was going on or how to treat it. I was insanely frustrated! Dr. Z was able to help and allowed me to get my active lifestyle back. Whenever I feel my body starting to rebel I know I can count on Dr. Z to help me stay healthy and active. I recommend him to everyone all the time! If you're looking for a great acupuncturist, he is your guy!

Dr. Zuo certainly knows his trade. I have heard many success stories from some of his patients and experienced great success myself. It was not something that was easy to fix and I left overall greatly strengthened and well balanced feeling, exactly what I had asked for given my chronic illness. I recommend looking at his long lists of areas he covers in treatment and giving it a try if your ailment falls in one of the categories.

I'll start by saying I'm sure this doctor is extremely knowledgable and experienced in his field of medicine. I have no doubts of that. What was lacking was the empathy and human connection in my visit. I went in for my first visit wanting to have cupping done, I have had it done in the past and its given me a lot of pain relief (I've had RA and Lupus since I was 14 and am seeing a wide range of specialty doctors for my health, I am 26 and consider myself very responsible at taking care of my body). What I didn't count on was being immediately lectured about my health, how he did not want to cup me and instead wanted to find a cure not a temporary solution to my pain. I appreciate him wanting to find a way to fix my health, but a first time appointment with a doctor who I don't know or have not built trust with, who does not know my history or the work I am currently doing is not the time where I want to immediately dive into some intense treatments. He basically sat there lecturing me about my health without asking questions, I felt like he wasn't hearing what I PERSONALLY wanted for myself, since it is MY BODY and my choice what I have done to it. And finally frustrated enough I started crying telling him that it was my body and my choice, and that I was seeing other doctors and working on my health, since he was treating me like I wasn't doing anything outside of getting some cupping done. Finally he said he will do a cupping treatment but continued to lecture me during and after the session about my own health and how I wasn't doing what was best for me. The cupping itself was good, again I'm sure he is very good at what he does and his treatment. But because of the emotionally damaging interaction I had in his office and his lack of empathy and listening to my needs, I will not be returning.

This was my last resort. I remember just over 2 yrs ago at Costco and the shooting pain down my leg I had never felt before. I have always had back problems, but this was the first sciatica I had ever felt. I went through many tests. They thought I had lupus, arthritis, whatever. All the tests were very expensive even with my insurance. All came back normal. In the meantime, I love to hike, I love to bike, I love to go on walks. Can't do it with the pain. I go back to Costco with a cane. So worried I will fall with the pain and cause a bigger problem. This is where I start talking about hope. I am beside myself and the relief I am feeling since my treatment with Dr. Zuo. I get so emotional when I am able to bend down or just do something I haven't been able to do in over 2 yrs. I am 2 weeks in my treatment and will follow up when I am done. He is a very kind doctor and very gentle, and he has a good sense of humor! It feels like a miracle.

I had a right side frozen shoulder (2 of 4 rotator cuff muscles inflamed) that was giving me sharp, shooting pain that was inhibiting my daily activities. My primary doctor recommended cortisone shots and physical therapy. I wanted to try acupuncture and consulted Dr Yancheng. He immediately pointed put the affected area and quoted 550 for 10 sessions. My insurance doesn’t cover acupuncture yet, but I proceeded with the treatments. I learned that the fine needle creates a trauma to the body, body responds to it by increasing the blood flow to the trauma, promoting natural self-healing. I was skeptical, but when I went back the second time, my pain was reduced, after the third session, I was able to lift my arm. My pain was completely gone after the entire session was complete. The whole muscle recovery took me a year and half but initial pain was definitely removed by the acupuncture.

I was having pain in my legs and heels and thought my shoes were the cause. After going through multiple shoes I decided to give acupuncture a try. I went to this clinic and had an amazing experience. My pain was completely relieved and was so helpful to me that my wife decided to have her acupuncture done here as well. I highly recommend Yancheng Acupuncture and Herbal Clinic and will be returning when needed. -Jaime V

not that great.....didn't notice a difference and I felt somewhat rushed. sad because in the past it seems like he had really good reviews...wish I would have liked this clinic as I really wanted to.... better luck next time, to the next patient I guess... *****In response to the Owners' Reply******* I was a patient there and I did try the clinic you have... I have also went to other clinics so I have a general idea on what to expect and so forth. At the other places I always felt relieve after even one visit. At this clinic, all I felt after each clinic visit was a bad headache. In addition to this-- I found another place where I get 10 treatments for 140 vs. 10 treatments at 500 at this clinic..... So on the 3900 south area-- the price is not reflective of the rate in this area, or at least, on the same street it isn't. AND I'm ALSO NOT told that "I'm fat" at the other accupunture clinic. YES I knew that I was overweight. That was why I was there-- weight loss!!! I was going to Dr.Zuo for pain control & weight loss!! I was hit while walking by a car, so: No, I wasn't fat my whole life, I was actually quite fit and sporty before the accident. Tell me something I don't know!! MAYBE the other people had better experiences and found the doctor "sweet and endearing" because they were skinny people
