Workmanship was top-notch and materials look good. Paul (the project manager) came up with a nice clean layout but the city wanted the panels split between two roofs. The panels look great anyway! I had the overhead line buried which changed the original layout that was planned but Paul and Elvin worked around my schedule and were very patient with DP&L and myself. I will defiantly use them on the next house.

This review has been a long time coming. I am going to say that my install was not typical. There were several issues throughout the process. However, it is how everything was dealt with that sets YellowLite in very high regard. Some problems could not be foreseen and required additional equipment. Since this was not in the original quote I offered to split the cost and the owner would not have it. He refused and stated that the extra costs would not be passed down to me. The constant communication with my salesman, Cody, was nothing short of amazing. It's clear he was not just in it to make a commission but that he truly cared about his company and the willingness to make the system right. The whole process took about 8 months to work out the glitches but my system was producing during this time. There is no way YellowLite could have predicted the issues encountered in their defense. I was averaging 3,000 kwh a month usage with an average bill of 400. For 2020 we paid 234.15 at the beginning of the year and ended with a credit of 287.83 at the beginning of November. This was an incredible year and the system has been performing like a champ. We have a ground mount system consisting of 90ea 310 watt panels. I highly recommend YellowLite. Go see Cody for all your solar needs.

This review is specifically about YellowLite customer service. Dean was very, very helpful in this process and is to be commended. He went above and beyond the call of duty to answer questions, including making several inquiries to get me the answers I sought. While I did not purchase the product (I'm not up for the 20-year financing and will likely revisit the idea when I am prepared to do a 5-year loan), I am impressed by the quality of customer care.

The YellowLite company did a professional and fairly quick installation of my solar panels and they have worked well except for rare, dark cloudy days, when they put out little or no energy. I have recommended them to neighbors and friends who are considering solar installations. My electric bill from mid-July to mid-August is normally in the 200-250 range due to running dual zone air conditioning. This time the bill was 25! I had researched several competing solar companies and YellowLite is the best in our area. I give this company my unreserved recommendation.
