Spent 32 bucks to have 3 chainsaw chains sharpened. Nice people but my chains came back worse than when I dropped them off. I already went through all 3 chains in 1 day. 1 chain didnt even cut through 1 small tree before it was dull again. Not going back, you lost my service.

I’m very happy with Cooke’s. I dropped off a reel mower to be serviced that I bought at a yard sale. I stopped in before their normal business hours as I saw the light was on. I told them what I needed and they said it would be about a week. 3 hours later I received a call letting me know it was finished. I was told that they were able to work it in that morning. I was pleasantly surprised. Oddly enough, I was eager to try it out. I guess I’m getting old...Anyway, this mower is a beast! Before I had it serviced at Cooke’s I thought I may have wasted my money, but they did a fantastic job. It’s a great little mower for a small area that I cannot get to with my tractor. I love supporting local small businesses, and I’ll be back for sure!

Horrible skill level of the owner. Took a simple, D2 fixed blade into the shop to get touched up. Not reprofiled, just a touch up. The owner was absolutely dreadful, skillwise. The knife had a decently sharp point when i entered the store, after \sharpening\ he managed to blunt the tip so bad that the tip barely even breaks the skin, its so dull. The working edge of the blade after the owner \sharpened\ it, was not even able to cut arm hair AT ANY ANGLE AT ALL. The factory edge of this fixed blade was better done than this, by a longshot. Basically paid 10 for the owner of Cookes to dull the working edge of my blade even more so & blunt the tip of an already sharp, blade tip. Stay away from this incompetent owner. Pretty pathetic to me...your business is entirely based on making steel blades sharp...yet you can't even manage to make my blade sharp, at all. Close your doors, its time to hang it up, old man.

Marge is very polite and a pleasure to deal with. They have been doing business for 25 years or so and know their stuff.

These guys are amazing! Superb work at a great price. I brought an old Bowie knife that I got at an antique store and they made it look new. Plus they sharpened my other tools to an fine edge! Highly recommend!
