I ordered an appointment book on April 30th. I received a confirmation order but no forecast as to when my product would be shipped or arrived. I paid 8(7.99) for shipping, and I was hoping to get the item promptly. Finally after waiting two weeks I called to find out the order status. Initially I was told the item had shipped. Then she corrected herself and told me it would be shipped out today. I had to wonder if I hadn't called when the item would have arrived. It is also nice to know when to expect the package as we are not all sitting at home ready to take in the mail. I recommend you stick to amazon.
Shipping costs make even clearance and sale items way overpriced compared to their major competitors. There is also no way to determine the shipping cost while assembling your order, you have to request a shipping quote by email. It's admirable that they focus on GREEN products, but all of the products they sell can be found from other retailers at comparable costs, and if you order from one of their national competitors the shipping is FREE.
It's great to have a local company so committed to the environment. I've always gotten prompt service and everything I need for my home office.
I primarily buy toilet paper and compostable trash bags at Greenline and because I buy each a case at a time, shipping is free. You can't beat that! I like that the TP is unbleached and each role is individually wrapped, and that I'm not chucking plastic into the wastestream---the quantities helps offset the cost. I also have bought things like parchment paper and sandwich bags, but again, when I buy the TP, so shipping is free. I try to do little things here and there to help the environment, hoping they add up, and Greenline helps me do that. (As for not knowing the shipping when you order, true, but how spoiled are we all by Prime (I love Prime) that you can't wait a day! You know it's not going to be too outrageous and after you've done it once, you can save up to order a lot or just not choose Greenline. First World problem imho. )
A real gem. Owned and operated by real environmentalists. Get your green needs filled here
