My husband and I went to Marino's yesterday. We have been going there for years because the food is good, but not last night. I ordered their homemade Italian wedding soup and a small salad. The soup was delicious and the salad was fresh and crisp - very good. My husband ordered the Italian sausage sandwich and french fries. He asked that the sandwich be served without the tomato sauce. It came with grilled onions and peppers. What he got was awful !! The sausage was dry and hard ... so hard it was difficult to bite into. The french fries were greasy and small, as if they were the bottom of the bag. Very disappointed !!

Really great experience last night. All the food was great and the service was great too. Reasonably priced drink selection with a full bar. Not a ton of wine options but enough. The sausage pizza was great we split a mini as an appetizer just to try it and it was a good choice. I had the Tuscan shrimp as my meal and it was excellent. Really great flavor and a large portion. It also came with a salad. I plan to go back to try other dishes I did learn though that if you get take out then you need to ask for sauce with the breaded cauliflower. If order it in the restaurant it comes with it but not with takeout. A bit misleading and then disappointing when sitting down to eat
Absolutely, one of our favorite places to eat! The pizza is fantastic and salads with house dressing the best. Lunch specials are a great deal and dinner entrees are so much you have to take some home. Pasta dishes, chicken dishes, subs, specialty salads and garlic bread are worth getting.. Anything on the menu is good and we drive out of state to come here over 90 minutes. Currently there is outside seating and the carry out section right now is booming. Been coming here for over 20 years. Please check it out. All I can say is, Yum!!!
First time coming to this restaurant. I ordered the Chicken Marcella and my husband ordered the chicken parmigiana. The Cesar salads came out quickly and were good. The main dishes came out 25 minutes later... the bread came out with the main dishes- maybe the bread should’ve come out before the main dishes?!? The main dishes were okay, the chicken tasted fresh but could’ve use some spices to be kicked up a bit. The Chicken Marcella tasted like too much flour was used. The prices were a bit over priced for the quality of the food.
I got the sausage pepperonata and my wife got the chicken and mushroom gorgonzola. My dinner was ok, nothing special but how much can you do with sausage and marinara? The chicken and mushroom gorgonzola was amazing! Loaded with flavor, nothing overpowering anything else, which is impressive with a cheese like gorgonzola. I had the tiramisu for dessert, and it was exactly what I wanted it to be.
