Tried this place already with my friend and I am hooked since then. I enjoyed the excellent ambience and yummy food and drinks. Keep up the good work.

My overall experience was ok. The chicken Tikka was a little bit of a let down, as the sauce was good but the meat itself was quite bland. Also, our appetizers came out after the entrees. So that was kinda weird. Their saving grace was definitely the Naan and the service.

This restaurant is a splendid and authentic himalayan restaurant. It has some more classic dishes such as tandoori chicken (juicy and extremely flavorful) or saag paneer (creamy, flavorful, and with a hint of sweetness). These classic dishes are accompanied by dishes less know in the US such as dal makhini. The atmosphere is delightful and everyone is very nice and will make you feel at home.

Unbelievably good food. This place is easily some of the best south Asian food I’ve ever had. Definitely recommend!!

Jewel of Himalaya is not what I expected. Indian cuisine varies from region to region, and home to home. However, I’m not even sure they even consulted someone of Indian descent to make/create these recipes and dishes. The appetizer, Momo beef dumplings, which came out after the main meals, which did not meet expectations. They physically looked like any run of the mill dumplings from a Chinese take out. However, the filling had good flavor. My partner and I ordered the chicken Tikka Masala, which had to be the biggest disappointment of the meal. The chicken was bland, cubed white chicken breast, that is completely different from the traditional dish where the chicken is seasoned and slightly cooked before adding the sauce. I was disappointed when there were no other chutneys or yogurt sauce, or veggies offered with the chicken tikka masala. Also, there was no nonalcoholic drink menu offered or seen. This place is a stepping stone for those who haven’t experienced better Indian food, or a home cooked Indian meal. Their only saving grace was their naan and service.
