I had to cancel the service. After the Tribune took over, the delivery service never quite made it to the porch and getting the paper required an Easter Egg Hunt. In addition, they decided the rates needed to increase. Everything is pretty much automated these days and a small 6-8 charge on a monthly basis. I never noticed they were not charging me for my weekend subscription. When they sent a letter asking for payment, the monthly charge was almost double. I offered to catch up the bill, but at the rate I was originally paying. At that point, I was told that, if I ever wanted to get the Vindicator delivered, I would need to pay the balance. Just so I am caught up: You take over the Vindicator, stop the auto deduction (of which an increase would have been noticed), reduce the quality of delivery so I never know where the paper is going to be in the morning, fail to notify me of the increase and then want me to retroactively pay an improperly inflated bill under threat of never being able to restart service? I will keep my money and live with that fact.

Sadly the vindicator is closing at the end of August 2019 I always enjoyed their paper as it informs you of all the things going on around town. After 150 years of publishing the newspaper the time has come to end this newspaper. I will miss them.

Seriously will never subscribe to this newspaper ever again. I’ll buy it out the quarter machine, before I order a subscription EVER AGAIN!! Haven’t gotten a newspaper in eight weeks, but was charged two months in a row. Finally remembered to call them to see what is going on, and the lady said I shouldn’t have waited two months to call and complain so she could only credit me for the past month. Seriously?!?! Horrible customer service!!!!
