Came in this morning about 20 minutes after they opened. The men's bathroom was disgusting. The toilet was so filthy that I didn't even want to touch the seat to lift it to pee. There weren't even any paper towels to try to clean it myself. I suppose I could have just \went\ on the seat but I'm not that rude. I would think that the bathrooms would have been cleaned either after they closed the night before or first thing in the morning before they opened. Apparently cleanliness isn't a priority here. Although I was pretty grossed out, my wife had already ordered our food by the time I came out of the bathroom. The chicken was hot and tasted pretty fresh. The fried pickles were way too salty though. I really like CE usually but the lack of cleanliness is a pretty big deal to me. Even some of the tables needed to be wiped down. We were the only customers in this morning so it wasn't because they were too busy to do it. I'll try to post pics but I'm not sure I know how yet.
I love there spicy chicken strips!! I eat them with honey. The biscuits are so yummy too. The mash potatoes are good with the gravy. Fried okra is always cooked perfect. Thanks for good food!
Place can almost compare to Cains. Still great food tho
