This was an awesome historical museum with knowledgeable staff and a lot to take in. My 9 year old is a big WWII buff and he was over the moon with all the displays and artifacts. For me it was great to hear about the local ties to the community and the role of the city in the conflict. The museum covers military history right up to 9-11 and is a great way to spend some time on a Saturday. Also make sure you ask about the book and comics that are offered for sale. Awesome reads and cool souvenirs. Museum is run completely on donations so please make sure to have a little cash on you to keep this wonderful local spot available for everyone

Wow! This is a great museum, a lot of artifacts and very informative. The staff member (Cliff) was fantastic and did a great job of explaining the different rooms and eras. Free museum, but donations are always welcome.

Excellent museum and a very good tribute to a survivor 2 days before the 7 Dec Pearl Harbor remembrance day 2020.

Open Saturday only 10-4. Admission by voluntary donation. Plan on 1 hour minimum, 2 maximum. Very much oriented towards actual artifacts and objects than pictures and signs. WWII, Korea, Vietnam, plus various specific units (10th Mountain, etc.). Several videos running associated with specific display. The building is restored a WWII infirmary, located on a WWII airport used for training.

Me and my dad came to visit and everyone was welcoming and overall it was very neat to see everything there. And since my dad was in the Navy I learned a few things that day to. Also recommend donations when you visit to keep them going.
