We took my kids (ages 8 and 12). I'd rate the humor at about a PG-13. The adult humor was all inuendo. My son got most of it, my daughter didn't. We all laughed a lot. The food was good but in smaller proportions than I expected. The actors are also the servers, so don't expect a quick drink refill. The show was hysterical. Overall it was well worth the money and better than I expected it to be. My family and I had a wonderful time, and we'd like to go again.

Went to the show over the weekend and it was hilarious. I've been before and I can tell they've taken on at least one new actor who clearly has more experience. Loved the brunette Nellie Mae. Not only was she super cute with her pig-tail braids but she was sporting some awesome cowboy boots and looked like a true Kentucky girl...not like the old Nellie Mae who wore flip-flops and looked like an average Tucson girl with no real costume. The actors did great in keeping the audience laughing and on their toes. The only complaint is the food. Took awhile to get dinner and the portions were somewhat small. All in all, it was a good show and I would go again.

PLACE IS CLOSED! Three parties made reservations for my dads 80th bd on Feb. 26. Made reservations weeks prior and all gave our credit card numbers to hold our spots. Confirmed at a later date too. Showed up all dressed up and excited - to locked doors. They closed and never called us. The owner gave us varying stories including that he did talk to "Scott" telling him they closed. Yet we didn't have a Scott in our party! This left all 9 of us stranded on a Saturday night. He said he'd call the next day to "make it right" yet no phone call. This place is AWFUL - you've been warned!

As the other reviews said, the food was mediocre. The overall experience, however, was absolutely horrendous. Allow me to give you a run-down of the evening. We arrived for our 7:00 PM show with 20 minutes to spare, expecting a seat in the theatre. Instead, we were ushered into the bar to wait with the rest of the audience until 7:15. Not nearly enough seats for everyone. Finally, the SM came in and gave a shaky speech with awkwardly scripted punchlines. When we were finally led into the "theatre" (a ballroom in the mexican restaurant) it was nearing 7:30 Tables were equipped with pitchers of water and tea and a tube of blowing bubbles (never explained). Salad arrived with a few pre-mixed greens and light balsamic spritz. Edible. The real show didn't start until 7:45. I cannot even begin to describe the travesty this show was. Actors didn't know most of their lines and mumbled those that they remembered. Frequently, the stage was left in silence for minutes why the actors tried to figure out what came next. They tried to include audience participation, but this was just having some people stand on the stage at various points and dance, act like a vampire, or attempt to partake in the storytelling. Intermission food was beans, a cheese enchilada, and cornbread. After the show, a brownie desert was served. All edible, none praise-worthy. This show was maybe worth five dollars a piece, with the dinner being another eight. It cost us 40 a ticket. Actors received no compensation aside from tips, so I guess they cannot be blamed. Not worth the three hours we were stuck in those restaurant-style chairs. Hopefully we came on an off night with stand-ins, but if the show was like ours, I do not recommend this. Go to Gaslight for your half-assed entertainment needs.

I have to say our experience was the same as the first review here. This sucked royally. Don't waste your time our your money going to this "theater". The bartender had no concept of what a bartender is. The "server" was never seen after he brought the water. The food was cold and vegetarian. This was a birthday outing on Valentine's Day with two other people, one visiting from another state. It was embarrassing. The whole show was horrendous!! I can't believe they charge what they charge for this and can ruin everyone's time and nothing can be done about it!! We will be calling the credit card company about this purchase and seeing if something can't be done through them with our unsatisfaction!!! Just appalling all the way around. First review right on the money!!!
