Dropped off my MacBook pro for a simple battery change on 12/24/18, I just now received my MacBook back on 2/5/19. Had stopped in multiple times for any updates and it was one excuse after another and they said they would call me with updates later that day and never did. Turns out all the work had been done on the same day that I picked it up, so I waited almost a month and half for a couple hours of work???? I also asked why it took so long to fix and they had no answer. **update after response from owner** Looking back at my phone records you never called multiple times, and just by looking at your responses to your past 1 stars just goes to show how horrible your customer service actually is, and that is perfectly fine I will not be coming back to your store for anything, I was simply stating that I was told I would be contacted and never was, if you really cant take any constructive criticism then you should not be in any customer service business, learn from your mistakes and move on, I was contacted very early on with what issues needed fixed and I told whoever called me the first time to just do the battery and guess what I wasn't called for almost a month after that, maybe you should learn to communicate amongst each other to actually help get work out the door. You completed my computer in half a day after I waited for more than a month for it is all that I was saying. BBB here I come!!!! 1 missed call which I responded to the same day, here is your proof!!!

Terrible company and rude staff. Avoid this place at all costs. I’ve posted my email to my credit card company to dispute my charges for anyone interested. “Description of merchandise received- Apple iPhone screen that was not Apple certified and had a different color scheme than the original. It looks tinted yellow. I tried to tell them that I was expecting a legitimate Apple screen because that’s what they claimed it was. They said that this one was Apple certified and they were aware of the tint. After I complained they offered an even more expensive screen 250 and claimed that that one would look like the original. Nowhere did they state that the 123 dollar screen would not look like the original. Also when I asked them to provide proof that the screen they gave me was certified by Apple they could not or just refused to do so.
Dropped off my computer and had it back the same day. Exactly what I wanted was done for an amazing low price. I'd recommend any day and I'll definitely be back if I have future issues with my PC.
So I had two older macs that I was thinking of buying a new one but instead took them to Advanced Computers and they cleaned them up and worked their magic on it and they both are running better than ever. Saved me a ton of money and headache. I am 100 percent happy with my service there. Never have had issues been going to Advanced Computers for years.
In the many times that I have needed anything done with my phones or computers, Brian has always been there. His knowledge is so vast, I have no worries in his abilities to get the job done. He has my complete trust! Thank you so much for recovering my daughters files that someone else said was gone! (Of course she doesn’t live in Sioux City, so she went to someone where she lives.) So mail your devices to Brian so you can get the truth!!!
This morning my Mac would not boot up. Being new to the area I had no clue where to get my Mac fixed so I started at Best Buy. They could ship my computer off to get repaired, no can do. Being a graphic designer, no computer, no income. I explained this to the tech and he told me to go to Advanced Computers. Went to Advanced Computers and left my Mac with them. My hard drive was failing and they suggested a solid hard drive, said it would be faster it will cost a little more but he assured me that it was worth the money. So I got my computer picked up and I have the solid drive. I am amazed how fast my Mac is now. Advanced Computers, you guys are now my new best friends. My computer is how I make a living, I wish someone had told me to do this years ago. Thank you guys, my computer is awesome!
Brian is the best! He gave me a great discount with all the work he did on my computer, which is much appreciated. He truly saved my computer and my business!!! If I could give Advance Computers 100 stars, I would!!!
This is my first review, because I actually have something to say. I brought my phone in with the part that I believed needed replacing and was told it was not possible. I understand this. I must have ordered the wrong part or misunderstood what was wrong. That was my bad. What I am truly complaining about is the people there. The woman there had managed to begin a voice memo to my father and managed to record a 14 minute audio clip. Not only did they complain about the phone (it is a hard to find model / make, which is why I ordered the part first. Try to help them out), they called me a "retard." When I called inquiring about my phone's status, I was told it needed numerous new parts. I would be better off just buying a new phone. I'm sorry for the misunderstanding I caused with the wrong part, but I think this could have been handled in a better way. I just wanted to forwarn future customers: you may not be taken seriously.
