Awl is so sweet spirited and kind. The clothing here are well made and high quality. I had sensory overload at first because the walls are lined in artwork and clothing, and there were beautiful clothes on racks as well. Anything of African origin you want or need is here. I purchased skirts, wide leg pants, dresses, a purse, hand fans, masks, chew sticks and jewelry for very affordable prices. I am now a loyal customer and can't wait to return!

What a wonderful place to shop! My husband is from Kenya and when I saw the suits hanging in the store, i knew the for scheme for our wedding! The owner, his wife, and daughter were so helpful in getting my bridesmaids' skirts together and helping me shop for outfits for our engagement photos! Our wedding was exactly how I dreamed it would be! For the wedding party to be able to wear their outfits after the wedding and represent the blending of our Kenyan and American cultures is what I was aiming for!
