This place doesn't even know what they have in stock... I called ahead and asked if they had Nitrogen and the guy on the phone says yes what size do you have. I told him the small 20cu 5lb tanks and he said yeah we just exchange those here. I asked after if he had two because I wanted to exchange one and buy one and he said yeah we do. So I drove 30 mins there because I have no idea where else to buy gas near Hutto. I get there and drive up to the dock and the guys says I only have a 40cu and bigger, I don't get a lot of those 20cu tanks but I might have some tomorrow. That was a waste of my time to bother driving out there for nothing, not to mentioned even they do have it tomorrow I have no way of knowing because they don't even know what they have in stock obviously.

Was told by the attendant that he would not help me unload the tank, didn't cite a policy, just said \I ain't getting down there to help you

Closed on business day. No notification. Called the local number goes to an \overflow call center\ and confirmed the location should be open. Corp call center said they're supposed to be open. I confirmed days earlier they were open, I would have made other arrangements now this impacts my ability to deliver products on time. Update: manager Perry saved the day. Came on his day off and exchanged bottles. Changed my rating because of him coming in. I have deliverables and would have missed if it wasn't for him. I'll be back because of that guy putting in the effort.

Be prepared for sneaky price increases with no notice, hidden Hazmat charges on BOTH deliveries and monthly rentals (you got it, hazmat charges for cylinders sitting in the shop), delivery charges and various shadiness. When you add it all up its thousands per year in extras! I have been in the welding industry for a decade and these guys ended up being the one vendor that out right said one thing, did another. We are basically being charged close to 2X what we agreed to when we moved over. they may be great for a company who needs very specialized gas but for more standard argon, mix, oxygen etc go elsewhere or you will pay for it!

If you’re looking for good customer service, these guys aren’t it. Not very helpful with tig rods and on top of that their argon is twice the price of Alamo welding supply. If you want good customer service and great pricing go to Alamo welding supply.
